European Union and the Northern Dimension Policy

The Northern Dimension is a policy framework for cooperation involving the EU, its Member States and partner countries Iceland, Norway and Russia. It aims at providing a common platform for promoting dialogue and concrete cooperation as well as strengthening stability and promoting economic integration, competitiveness and sustainable development in Northern Europe.

  • EUROPE DIRECT - Europe Direct information network is a network of local and regional EU information centres of the European Comission, that operates in all of the 27 member states. The mission of the network is to give information of the European Unions politics and programmes to the people in the area.
  • North Finland EU Office - aims to improve the competitiveness of the economy and to increase the business opportunities and well-being of the inhabitants of the northern areas of Finland.
